The design of the new Audi A8 creates an impressive fusion of legance and pure dynamism. Spacious surfaces, coupled with a
high side line and short overhangs that communicate an unmistakable message of sporty elegance. Features such as the
strikingly flared wheel arches and sloping roof line are reminiscent of a sports coupe and blend harmoniously with the elegant
and dynamic exterior to create the new Audi A8.

Two powerful yet economical V8 engines are available in the new Audi A8. By virtue of advanced technological development the
all-alloy engine casing reduces weight, while the multiple stage, variable length intake manifold increases torque at low engine
speeds, resulting in a smoother and more dynamic ride. The 3.7-litre V8 with 206 kW, offers a combination of performance and
economy, while the 4.2-litre V8, developing 246 kW offers additional high performance driving with improved torque
characteristics.

The new Audi A8 offers advanced dynamism at your fingertips. A six-speed tiptronic transmission with integrated electronics
thanks to Audi’s Dynamic Shift Program (DSP), analyses driving style to maximize engine performance. Developed in conjunction with Audi’s motorsport engineers, the new A8 features tiptronic shift paddles integrated into the multifunction steering wheel for maximum responsiveness and driver enjoyment.

To perfectly transmit power to the road with no compromises in safety or enjoyment, the new A8 is fitted with Audi’s quattro®
all-wheel drive technology. With 25% of the engine’s power distributed to each wheel, Audi’s quattro® all-wheel drive technology offers maximum levels of active safety in all driving conditions.

To offer the perfect balance between comfort, safety and performance, the new A8 incorporates Audi’s Adaptive Air Suspension system. With four unique suspension settings, the Adaptive Air Suspension system will not only raise or lower the A8’s height but also adjust the suspension dampening to offer maximum ride comfort and dynamism for all driving conditions.
Another challenge that faced Audi’s engineers was to develop the most progressive safety concept possible while not compromising on chassis dynamics. For this reason, the new A8 uses the Audi Space Frame (ASF)® aluminium construction principle. With the chassis and body made entirely of aluminium, the new Audi A8 offers a 60% increase in torsional rigidity. Aluminium construction is not only stronger than a conventional steel body but also lighter, offering improved driving dynamics, fuel economy and higher levels of safety.

The interior concept of the new Audi A8 combines elegance, sporty design and comfort in a way that has never been achieved before. The high centre console that houses an elegantly retractable 7” monitor, combined with a sweeping dashboard creates pure sporting elegance.
